Nothing makes me feel Christmassy like doing biscuits with the family. Today I’m doing them with my mummy and we’re having so much fun.
The recipe is:
2 eggs
100 gr sugar
100 gr butter
200 gr flour (this time we’re using wholewheat flour…feeling soooo healthy )
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 lemon zest
In a large boul we mix together all the ingredients and then we put the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Then we preheat the hoven to 180 degrees and, on a clean floured surface, we roll out small portions of the dough and we cut shapes using beautiful and festive cutters ( the fun part ! )
Then we bake them for about 10 minutes in the oven ( when the edges start to get brown it’s time to take them off ).
If you feel like you can sprinkle with colored sugar before baking or icing when they’re cool.
And now it’s time to eat them all!

Niente mi fa sentire più lo spirito natalizio di fare i biscotti con la famiglia. Oggi li preparo con la mamma e ci stiamo divertendo moltissimo.
La ricetta è:
– 2 uova
– 100 gr Zucchero
– 100 gr Burro
– 200 gr Farina
– 1/2 cucchiaino di sale
– 1 cucchiaino di lievito
– la scorza di un limone
In una ciotola larga mescolate tutti gli ingredienti con cura e ponete il composto in frigo per circa 20 minuti. Preriscaldate il forno a 180 gradi e, su una superficie pulita ed infarinata, stendete piccole porzioni d’impasto e tagliate i biscotti con forme possibilmente carine e natilizie ( la parte divertente ! ) Poi cuocete i biscotti nel forno per circa 10 minuto ( quando i bordi iniziano a diventare marroni è ora di tirarli fuori ). Se vi sentite particolarmente ispirati potete decorare i biscotti con confettini colorati, potete ricoprirli con pasta di zucchero o glassarli. E ora è giunto il momento di mangiarli tutti !
