Spending a sunday afternoon in a castle is a great idea by its own but if you’re surrounded by cosplayers fun is guaranteed. That was exactly what happened to me last sunday when I decided to go to the Comic books Festival inside the Castle of Villafranca for a genuine nerd afternoon.
As soon as me and my friends arrived a wave of music and colours reached us and made us feel like we were living in a movie, a cartoon movie of course and sometimes even in an horror cartoon movie ( I never thought I could be scared by Alice in Wonderland )
We also had the unique chance to hear the scaring ( for real ) singing voice of a random monster who took possession of the main stage.
We also saw Duffman
And the Kiss ( very random I know)
Everything was really fun and entertaining but the climax for me was when I discovered the super talented japan illustrator Marica Inoue ( you can see her at work below)….
…and I became a vampire in one of her beautiful portraits.
