A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to London and, as anytime I go there, I bring back home with me a genuine feeling of well-being but even a bit of melancholy, cause my heart belongs to London.
If you have never been there, start thinking about it cause I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it.
There are a lot of beautiful places in the world and of course I want to see them all, but I’m sure that London will remain on top of my preferences.
Modern architecture, ancient and majestic buildings, romantic views on the river, chic districts, smart clubs, interesting exhibitions and wonderful shops are just some of the reasons why I love this place so much.
Besides visible and meterial things, what catch me the most is the overall feeling that here every culture could find a place, every foreigner is welcome, everyone could feel at home.
As an italian, what makes me homesick every time I go abroad is food. This doesn’t happen in London cause here I can always find some dishes that I like among this multitude of restaurants.
During my last trip to London I stayed at the CitizenM hotel at Bankside and I really enjoed it.
Cool design features everywhere, wall to wall window in the room, rain shower, free movies and free wifi…what else do I need?
