There are some things you know, when you first use them, that they will stay with you for a long, long time.
This post collects the 5 skincare products that have long earned a place of honor in my skincare routine – and in my heart – and that will not go anywhere, at least for a long time.

Let’s start…

In order of application we have the Heimish All Clean Balm Cleansing Balm. Delicate, non-irritating, it quickly dissolves all eye makeup without unnecessary rubbing and therefore without stressing the thin skin around the eyes. If I also want to remove my sunscreen, I pass it all over the face as the first step of double cleansing, followed by a gel foam cleanser (usually Caudalie’s).

I choose All Clean Balm among the many on the market because it has no irritating ingredients for me, and it has a very good value for money.

About once or twice a week, after cleansing the face, I proceed with Cure Natural Aqua Gel, a chemical peel made with activated hydrogen water that gently removes layers of dry, dead or rough skin to achieve even, firm and perfect skin.

I was introduced to this product by none other than the Queen herself Michelle Phan (I am her OG follower and still today I consider her one of the best sources of knowledge on skincare) and since then I can not live without.

You should apply it to dry skin and massage with light motions until you notice the formation of small white balls. At that point you must rinse it off. The result on the skin is fantastic, it’s almost like seeing yourself with a filter on.
After reading reviews of people who have tried it on their feet and swear by its effectiveness also as a ‘pedicure’ I wanted to try it on my hands and I must say that it works perfectly there too, removing all dead cells and leaving the skin smooth, even and very soft.

Then it’s time for hydration phase, with two classics for me (if you follow me on Instagram you will have heard them recommended dozens of times). The first one is the Rohto Hada Labo Gokujyun lotion. Its peculiarity is that it contains 4 different types of hyaluronic acid that easily reach different layers of the skin. Above this I apply the moisturizing milk of the same Hada Labo Gokujyun line which contains three hyaluronic acids and which brings a lot more hydration (yes, I want a lot) to the skin, plumping it immediately. It is hypoallergenic, unscented, uncoloured, mineral oil free and alcohol free.

Most of the time my routine ends here but there is another product that I love so very much …

And it is Laneige Cream Skin – Refiner Mist, a kind of spray moisturizer that can be used both as a final touch of further hydration and as a retouch during the day, even over your makeup, and every time it gives that healthy and dewy look, even if you are tired and have had makeup on for 8 hours.
This product really won me over immediately, because I have been looking for something that after many hours would bring me back to the freshness of the morning and this product was the definitive answer. The concept is a bit like those of thermal spray waters, only in this case the function is definitely more moisturizing and lasting. Love forever <3
